NO1 Edward Scissorshands
Who remembers this classic Burton movie and who has not seen it? Edward Scissorhands is a wonderful amazing movie and one of my favorite. You Can get different types of costumes for Edward which come with gloves with knives and leather clothing. NO2 Beetlejuice
What a great movie, one of the classics of the 80′s. Beetlejuice is such a crazy fun movie and starred Michael Keaton as the ghost with the most. We have a few different styles and designs for this crazy character and they are nut looking costumes. See Beetlejuice Costumes.
NO3 Sleepy Hollow
In this creepy scary movie we have the Headless Horseman, a very scary man on a horse going around cutting of peoples heads. NO4 Sweeney Todd
Who loves musicals? And who loves musicals where the characters murder people, cut them up, make pies out of them and serve them to the public? Well, that is basically the story of the crazy Sweeney Todd movie and what a fantastic crazy movie it is. For this movie we have a brilliant Sweeney Todd costume for men and also a fantastic Mrs Lovett costume for ladies. Pairing up make a great couples costume idea.
NO5 Corpse Bride
Ok, this is my Favorite Tim Burton movie with one of my favorite and loveable characters, and that is the wonderful Emily. This is one of Burton’s best and again uses the voices of Depp and Carter and here on our site we have wonderful Corpse Bride costumes for ladies as well as for children which must be seen.
NO6 The Nightmare Before Christmas
Again, Burton makes an excellent animated musical here with the brilliant The Nightmare Before Christmas. This excellent movie has many crazy characters and two which feature on our site here and have great costumes for is Jack Skellington and the beautiful rag doll Sally, well worth checking out. NO7 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
In 2005, Burton made Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a remake of the brilliant 1971 movie and again it starred Depp. Though, it is not one of my favorite movies, the costume available are excellent and for people looking to have the most fun out of their Halloween costumes. Here we have a costume for Willy Wonka, a fun wacky costume and also we have a very funny Oompa Loompa costume which is just crazy looking and these can be perfect for couples costume ideas.
NO8 Alice In Wonderland
In 2010, Burton created his own world of the brilliant Lewis Carroll story Alice In Wonderland. Though not a bad movie, it has giving us a huge choice of amazing character costumes to choose from (Just flick through our site to see). When you listen to what I have just written you can visualize these people and why they make an amazing pairing and perfect for the Halloween. The two costumes are as creepy and exact as the characters themselves, and would make any hard soul feel uneasy been in your presence.
Sweeney Todd with his gray vest, white shirt, barbers scarf, black pants, black wig with a silver stripe and adding a plastic razor blade, it is possible to even scare yourself when you look in the mirror it is that brilliant looking.
While Mrs Lovett embraces a dark Victorian era dress, a neckline accented in tulle with attached red chemise, sheer three quarter sleeves with lace cuffs, and a pleated dress-apron skirt that falls just about the ankles, adding the right make-up and hair, and your ready for some sweet pie making, pure creepy cool costume this is.
Both these costumes can stand on their own and are instantly recognizable, and make a perfect gloomy and dark strange and eerie costume look. Put together, they are the ultimate Halloween costumes for couples. Going to any fancy dress party embracing this pairs horror look will be an unique experience and sure to be the soul and talk of any party, that is, if anybody can brace themselves to look in your direction.

Beetlejuice, the classic strange and hilarious 1988 cult movie has produced, again thanks to the great mind of Tim Burton, a crazy and funny character that is Beetlejuice, and a character that makes the most outrageous costume look for teens and adults, male or female, a costume look that can rule all Halloween and fancy dress parties this year.
Because it is over 20 years old now, a lot of people may not yet have discovered Beetlejuice the movie or the cartoon series. The original movie starred Alec Baldwin, Gena Davis, Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice, and he is an extravagant ghost, hired by 2 other ghosts(Davis and Baldwin} to scare the new set of people who have moved into the ghosts house and hopefully get them to leave.
Beetlejuice is an exorcist himself, known for exorcising the living, a bio-exorcist, but he is also rude, vulgar, obnoxious, devious and mischievous, which leads to our two main ghosts regretting making the call, which is Beetlejuice said three times. Keaton’s character is outrageously funny and disgusting at the same time, making him one of the most Iconic characters of all time, and if you haven’t seen the movie, you should put it on your to do list.
The Beetlejuice look is Iconic, and the costumes craftsmanship could not be any better. Taking on this character and bracing the character Halloween look is a brilliant idea and one that would turn heads everywhere you go, exactly what a Halloween costume should do.
Many online retailers have produced a few different fantastic styles and designs of the Iconic black and white striped suit and the wild Einstein looking hair, made to fit teens, adults, both male and female, from small to plus size, basically catering for everyone.

For all of Tim Burton’s amazing movies he has made over the years, personally Edward Scissiorhands is one of my favorite and certainty one of the best movies to come out of the nineties. Edward, the main character, is a striking looking creature, an unforgettable creation of Burton’s mind, and because of Edward’s movie look, makes for a pure stunning unique Halloween costume.
Halloween is just around the corner but it is not to late to find that killer looking costume to make you stand out from the crowd. Edward Scissorhands was a character in a movie of the same name in 1990 and he was played by Johnny Depp. This movie was magical, a movie for all ages and must be seen.
In short, basically the story is about Edward, who is an unfinished artificial man with scissors for hands and was created by an inventor. In the story he falls in love with a girl Kim ( Winona Ryder) and ends up killing her boyfriend and has to leave the town. It is in typical Burton style, a sad romantic dark beautiful tale, and stunning in sequence.

Let us just step back a little and have a quick think of all the movies and the characters that have come out of the great mind of Tim Burton. There are a lot yes, a lot of fantastic characters, and out of all these great characters we are able to find some unbelievable stunning costumes that will have you been a completely crazy and unique costume king this Halloween.
Every body knows the movies of Tim Burton and most of us love them (I am a true ecstatic fan for one) and how could you not love them. Most are just stunningly shot and there are a lot of tragic romantic elements to his movie that can just blow you away. Lets take a recap on the crazy characters that I can think of, and the costumes available for each, and see if you can get inspiration on what you would love to dress up as this year.
I’ll start with my favorite, now bare in mind there are costumes available for each character. This would be Edward Scissorhands, a true beautiful character, and the costume available is just amazing. What A great and sad movie.
Then we have the crazy Beetlejuice, there are a few different types of costumes available for this nut, including an inflatable shoulders, hilarious.
Jack Skellington and the beautiful Sally from the wonderful A Nightmare Before Christmas are two of the most lovable characters you can find and two of my favorite. There are plenty of different costume styles available for both and they are fantastic looking.
A corpse Bride, what another amazing piece of animation and from this movie we have again a favorite of mine the wonderful Emily. There are a lot of excellent costumes available for the beautiful yet “Dead” Emily.
Then there is Burton’s take on Batman in Batman Returns, and of course there are a ton of costumes available for this guy.
A crazy costume idea, and perfect for couples, is Sweeney Todd and his scary friend, Mrs Lovett, these two give me the creeps but the costumes available are just exquisite.
And last but not least we have of course His beautiful take on Alice in Wonderland. The Alice costume from that movie is stunning, but on top of that we have costumes from The Mad Hatter, The Queen Of Hearts, The March Hare, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, The White Rabbit, White Queen and a lot more, so much choice, brilliant.
As you can see, there are a ton of great Tim Burton characters to choose from, and most costumes come in adult and child size, plus in all sizes too. Thanks to the great mind of this man we have some outstanding Halloween costumes (and hopefully more to come) so looking either crazy, beautiful, scary, completely unique, will be easy this year and set you up for a crazy fun and party Halloween.

There seems to be a lot more Queen of Hearts designs and most are just amazing.
